Central EMS is pleased to announce that Linda Conley, Director of Operations for Central EMS in Savannah, Georgia, has been appointed to the Region 9 Regional EMS Advisory Council for the Georgia Department of Public Health.
The Region 9 Regional EMS Advisory Council serves as a local liaison between the regional EMS system and the Georgia Department of Public Health. The council supports regional EMS excellence through training, recruitment and retention, emergency preparedness, and other initiatives that help ensure communities receive high-quality emergency medical care.
“Linda’s appointment to the Region 9 Regional EMS Advisory Council reflects her commitment to strengthening EMS through collaboration, operational excellence and community-focused leadership,” said Corey Thomas, Vice President of Operations. “As Director of Operations, Linda brings valuable field insight and a deep understanding of what it takes to support sustainable EMS systems.”
Conley has been an integral part of the Central EMS family since 2012. As Director of Operations for the company’s South Georgia EMS operations, she oversees day-to-day operational performance, supports field leadership and frontline teams, and works closely with local healthcare, public safety and community partners to help ensure reliable, high-quality emergency medical services. In this role, Conley helps guide staffing, resource coordination, service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives that support patient care and system readiness across the region.
