Austin Cochran Named to the Georgia Systems of Care Advisory Council

Central EMS is pleased to announce that Austin Cochran has been appointed to the Georgia Systems of Care Advisory Council for the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The Georgia Systems of Care Advisory Council advises the Georgia Department of Public Health on policies, standards and legislative matters that support specialty systems of care across the state. The council brings together representatives from EMS, hospitals, specialty care centers and other healthcare partners to share insight and identify opportunities to improve coordination, emergency response and access to the appropriate level of care for patients throughout Georgia.

“Austin’s appointment to the Georgia Systems of Care Advisory Council reflects his deep commitment to patient care throughout the state,” said Toni Lee, Vice President of Operations. “As Director of Operations for Central EMS’ West Division, Austin has demonstrated a strong commitment to operational excellence and the delivery of high-quality patient care. He will bring valuable field and leadership insight to the council as it works to strengthen Georgia’s EMS system.”

As Director of Operations for Central EMS’ West Division, Cochran oversees day-to-day ambulance operations, supports field teams and works closely with local healthcare and public safety partners to help ensure dependable emergency medical response.

“I am honored to serve on the Georgia Systems of Care Advisory Council and to represent the EMS professionals who work every day to care for patients and support our communities,” Cochran said. “I look forward to contributing to discussions that help strengthen coordination across Georgia’s healthcare and emergency response systems.”
