Baptist Ambulance is proud to announce the promotion of Anna-Leah “Annie” Richardson to Director of Operations for West Tennessee. In this role, Richardson will oversee day-to-day ambulance operations, employee development, service delivery, and community partnerships across the region. She will report directly to Steven Shedd, Vice President of Operations.
Richardson brings nearly two decades of EMS, public safety, and healthcare experience to this leadership role, with a career dedicated to serving patients and communities throughout West Tennessee and the Mid-South.
She began her EMS career in 2007 and has served in a variety of progressive clinical and leadership roles, including Paramedic, Flight Paramedic, Event Medicine Paramedic, Tissue Recovery Technician, EMS Educator, and most recently, Operations Supervisor for Baptist Ambulance in Carroll County. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in 911 emergency responses, critical care transport, aviation medicine, community healthcare, employee development, and operational leadership.

We are excited to see her continue to grow in this leadership role.”
In addition to her operational experience, Richardson has spent many years helping develop future EMS professionals as a Paramedic and EMT preceptor for community college EMS programs across Tennessee. She is a Nationally Registered Paramedic and maintains multiple state and specialty certifications.
