Priority Ambulance California, LLC (Priority) announced today that it has formally recognized United Steel Workers (USW) Local 12-1853 as a collective bargaining representative for eligible EMS professionals who will support Priority’s role as CONFIRE’s subcontractor for ambulance services in San Bernardino County, California.
Through this recognition, Priority affirms its intent to work within the framework of the applicable collective bargaining agreement while advancing its operational responsibilities in San Bernardino County. The company remains focused on building a professional, collaborative relationship with USW Local 12-1853 and the represented employees serving patients across the region.

The recognition supports Priority’s broader efforts to establish a smooth operational transition, maintain open communication with employees and labor representatives, and prepare for the start of CONFIRE EMS services on October 1.
