Puckett EMS has a rich history of serving its community, starting in 1984 when Steve Puckett founded Puckett Ambulance Service in Powder Springs, Georgia. Though Steve sold the company in 1996, his passion for serving his community persisted. By 2001, he was ready to return to his life’s work, joining forces with his former Director of Operations, Shane Garrison, to launch what would become today’s Puckett EMS.

At our core, we believe in the power of partnership. Our close collaboration with local first responders and healthcare facilities are not just a business strategy – it’s how we fulfill our promise of outstanding emergency care and customer service. This commitment to excellence earned us the prestigious Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) certification in 2011, making Puckett EMS only the fourth ambulance service in Georgia to achieve this distinction.

Today, Puckett EMS provides both emergency 9-1-1 response and non-emergency medical transport across Central and Northwest Georgia, as well as Southeast Tennessee. We’re particularly proud to serve as the trusted 9-1-1 provider for Southwest Cobb County in Georgia, along with Catoosa, Sequatchie, and Marion counties in Tennessee.
