Magnolia Ambulance’s origins are rooted in Carthage Ambulance Service. Drawn to emergency medical services as a way to give back to the community he loved, H.L. Goolsby joined Carthage Ambulance Service, later becoming its owner. This commitment to excellence continued when Goolsby’s daughter, Leigh Ann, joined the family business, further strengthening their dedication to exceptional patient care.
The company’s rich history includes a period under PatientCare Logistics Solutions from 2018 to 2022, operating as LifeCare EMS, during which the Goolsby family maintained their leadership roles. In 2022, demonstrating their strong commitment to local service, the Goolsby family re-acquired the company.
Following H.L. Goolsby’s passing in April 2023, the company joined the Priority Ambulance family of companies in 2025. The transition to Magnolia Ambulance represents not just a new chapter but a renewed dedication to the values that H.L. Goolsby instilled from day one – treating every patient with the care and respect they deserve.
While the company’s name may have changed, its foundation remains unshaken: providing excellence in emergency medical services and treating every person we serve as family.
