TESTIMONIALS
Real EMTs and paramedics are seizing the opportunities provided by the Priority Ambulance Jumpstart Relocation Program. See below for a few examples of new members of the Priority Ambulance family and their experience in their new hometown!
Dominick Sapien
My wife and I were both working as paramedics in California and were feeling very burnt out and in need of a change of scenery. We fell in love with rural EMS during our paramedic schooling in North Carolina, so we began looking for an area out of state to relocate. We had always been drawn to Wyoming and during our job research, we found the Priority Ambulance Jumpstart Program. Lander, Wyoming seemed like exactly what we were looking for. Within 3 hours of submitting an interest form online, we got a call from someone discussing our relocation. Less than 2 months later, we were driving a moving truck across the country to Lander, Wyoming – sight unseen.
Since arriving, we have fallen in love with the community, the surrounding wilderness, and the rural EMS system (a stark contrast to the metropolitan EMS system we came from). We enjoy spending time outdoors and Wyoming has amazing wilderness that we have been enjoying during our days off. Relocating away from family, and as far as we did was not an easy thing to do – nor was it cheap. However, the sign-on bonus and housing assistance we received made the move stress-free and financially seamless. Priority Ambulance gave us the amazing opportunity to make this move happen and we have been living the dream ever since.

“I was on Facebook, and I saw you saying that your relocation program will pay medics up to $10,000 to relocate them. You give them money, help with housing, etc. and I just randomly put in for it, half asleep one night, and the next morning Tony called me and said ‘Hi, I’m Tony. Let’s just chat for a minute’. I ended up getting the job and I thought ‘oh so this is real!’.”

“I moved about a month and half ago from Oneonta, Alabama, to Franklin County, Tennessee, to work as an EMT with A&E EMS. I always wanted to live in Tennessee, and I saw Priority’s relocation program on social media. The relocation program was really easy and straightforward. Priority provided a rental house for a year and a relocation bonus to help with moving costs. I have been working in EMS for two years looking to stay in the career for a long time. This was a good next step. Priority is going to pay for my advanced EMT and paramedic certification in 2022.”
From grocery bills and gas prices to rental rates and real estate prices, the cost of living in a city affects your day-to-day life and long-term financial goals.
