National EMS, a member of the Priority Ambulance family of companies, announced today that the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) has awarded the agency a three-year accreditation. The company has proudly maintained its CAAS accreditation continuously for over 30 years, since first receiving it in 1993.
The Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) highlights a highly comprehensive series of standards that holds agencies to the highest values of emergency medical care throughout the nation. The “Gold Standard” signifies an agencies ability to not only meet state and local regulations but oftentimes exceed those standards, recognizing agencies for their remarkable attention to patient care and operational efficiencies.
“We are thrilled to receive another three-year accreditation from CAAS,” said John Bandzul, Vice President of Operations for National EMS. “Our team has worked extremely hard to maintain and improve quality standards here at National and this accreditation demonstrates our commitment to the communities that we serve as well as to our employees to continue to strive for the highest standards of patient care and employee investment.”
As the first Georgia based EMS agency to become CAAS certified, National EMS has maintained the “Gold Standard” for EMS agencies for more than three decades and remains one of only seven CAAS accredited agencies in the state today.
