Guardian Ambulance is pleased to announce that Jason Herring has been promoted to Director of Operations – East South Carolina.
In his new role, Jason will oversee the day-to-day operations of South Carolina’s Florence and Columbia operations.
“Jason has been a vital asset to both the Medshore Ambulance and Guardian Ambulance team since 2016. Over the last several years, he has become a leader within our organization and a role model for our providers. This promotion solidifies his dedication to our patients and our team here in South Carolina,” said Jason Cooke, Vice President of Operations for Guardian Ambulance.
Before his promotion, Jason served as the Operations Manager for Guardian Ambulance. Additionally, he directed 9-1-1 ambulance services in Chesterfield County for Medshore Ambulance and was a senior paramedic and shift supervisor for First Health of the Carolinas.
With more than 20 years of experience in the EMS industry, Jason has shown immense dedication to his patients and colleagues, earning himself Employee of the Year awards at both First Health and Medshore Ambulance. He was also given the Bruce Rogers Award for Outstanding Service and Dedication in Community Service for Chesterfield County in 2019.
Jason has an associate’s degree in applied science—Emergency Medical Services from Sandhills Community College.
