CHATTANOOGA, TN (July 1, 2024)— Puckett EMS, a proud member of the Priority Ambulance family of companies, announced today that its new substation near Soddy Daisy Freestanding ER is now open. The new substation will further the company’s commitment to Parkridge Health System to provide efficient and reliable medical transportation to its patients.
Puckett EMS has been a preferred ambulance transportation provider for Parkridge Health System since 2017. To ensure full integration and a cohesive partnership, Puckett EMS provides a Hospital Liaison to Parkridge, which enables streamlined customer service with the hospital care coordination team.
“Our partnership with Parkridge has continued to grow and be strengthened by our continuous dedication to the community. The addition of this new substation is a natural progression of that relationship and our commitment to continue to provide dependable and high-quality medical transportation to the community,” said Jake Lonas, Vice President of Operations for Puckett EMS.
The new substation, operational seven days a week, will house a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance and an Advanced Life Support (ALS) intercept vehicle. This addition to the community will significantly reduce wait times for urgent transfers from the free-standing emergency room to the main hospital system in Chattanooga, thereby enhancing patient care.
“We greatly appreciate our EMS partners for their unwavering commitment and invaluable partnership throughout the years. Their dedication and hard work have been paramount to the health of Chattanooga,” said Chris Cosby, president and chief executive officer of Parkridge Health System.
