The City of Lenoir City is proud to announce Priority Ambulance as the city’s exclusive emergency and nonemergency ambulance service provider. The one-year agreement with Lenoir City, signed April 14, empowered Priority Ambulance to provide emergency and nonemergency medical transportation within the city limits, and the ambulance company is now fully operational in the city.
“For the first time ever, our residents have full-time emergency medical services professionals and state-of-the-art ambulances located within the city limits around the clock ready to provide a quicker response in an emergency,” Lenoir City Mayor Tony Aikens said. “The health and safety of our citizens is the city’s primary concern, and Priority Ambulance provides a higher level of service for the residents of Lenoir City.”
Priority Ambulance has placed three top-line Mercedes-Benz ambulances in Lenoir City. Each ambulance is staffed by highly skilled, licensed EMTs and paramedics and provides Lenoir City residents with cutting-edge technology, including LIFEPAK cardiac monitoring devices.
“Priority Ambulance has the experienced staff, many of whom are residents of Loudon County, and latest technology to provide the superior emergency service that Lenoir City deserves,” Aikens said.

Priority Ambulance’s Lenoir City office is located at 531 Highway 321 North. Jennifer Stanley, a Loudon County native with more than 16 years of emergency medical services experience in Lenoir City and Loudon County, will serve as Priority’s Lenoir City director. Stanley will head a staff of 15 full-time and 10 part-time employees.

Priority Ambulance will also be installing automated external defibrillators (AED), devices used in emergency cardiac situations, in public buildings and spaces to protect the health and safety of Lenoir City residents. In cardiac emergencies, time is critical, and immediate access to an AED helps save lives.
